sendsecretmessage.com → secretpost.app
Welcome back — what changed
In April 2026 we moved from sendsecretmessage.com to secretpost.app. Same team. Same privacy promise. Same accounts. This page answers the questions you probably have.
- Is this really the same service?
- Yes. We renamed the product to SecretPost and rebuilt the site for speed and privacy. The company, the team, and the data are the same. If you had an account on sendsecretmessage.com, it has been migrated here.
- Do my old links still work?
- Yes. Every sendsecretmessage.com/msg/…, /p/{username}, and /secret/… link automatically redirects to its new home on secretpost.app. You don't have to re-share anything.
- Do I use my old password?
- Yes. Log in with the same username (or email) and password you used before. If you haven't logged in in a while, the first successful login quietly upgrades your password storage — you don't have to do anything.
- What if I forgot my password or don't know which email I used?
- If you registered an email address on your account, email hello@secretpost.app from that address and we'll help you regain access. If you never added an email, we cannot safely reset your password — verifying ownership through your registered email is the only way we can prevent someone else from claiming your account.
- Did my username change?
- A small number of legacy usernames were cleaned up (whitespace removed, duplicates numerically suffixed). Your old username still resolves to your new profile automatically — shared links are unaffected.
- Is my inbox content still here?
- Yes. Your received anonymous messages were migrated. A small number of orphaned messages (ones whose sender no longer existed in the old database) were dropped; nothing you received is affected.
